What do you imagine when you think of an estate agent?

Sharp suits, shiny pointy shoes and cheesy patter? Or a slick, bordering on smarmy approach that’s smoother than an oily dolphin?

Probably not someone you’d feel comfortable sharing your problems with.

At Robinson Reade we pride ourselves on being different, more approachable, friendly and sensitive to whatever our client’s needs are.

These attributes are very important if the reason the property is being sold is due to death, divorce or debt.

During my 27 years in estate agency I’ve had many people get all manner of things off their chest during valuation visits.

People from different backgrounds, with different problems and concerns.

But with one thing in common, the need for a low profile, genuinely caring and sensitive service.

The attributes I mentioned above are often called upon when we are dealing with sales caused by the reasons I’ve highlighted in the headline.

And the three D’s are sadly responsible for many of our clients’ moves, so please don’t be shy to tell us.

For us it’s more important to listen than to talk because that’s the way we find out what clients really need and how we can help.

Good estate agents know there’s more to this business than simply selling homes – you also have a responsibility to look after people and care for them as best you can.

So, whatever the circumstances, we’re here to help.

Call our team on 01489 579009 or email: parkgate@robinsonreade.co.uk for honest, expert and friendly advice.
