The charming village of Warsash sits on the East bank of the River Hamble and is a firm favourite for boating and sailing enthusiasts. The Memorial on the waterfront recalls the huge armada that left the area in 1944 for the D-Day landings.

The Rising Sun pub is very popular, especially on summer evenings when you can watch the sun go down behind the Harbourmaster’s iconic black & white building.

Just along the towpath the Pink Ferry provides a link for cyclists and pedestrians to Hamble Village across the water and is definitely worth a trip to enjoy the scenery.

South of the village is Warsash Common and the Hook with Warsash Nature Reserve where you can enjoy the local bird and wildlife. The nature reserve opens onto the Solent waterfront at the mouth of the Hamble and you can walk along to Solent Breezes Holiday Park and Brownwich Beach.
